vehm o yaqeen kay darmiyan, ik silsila to hay
is intihaaye shoq se tujh ko gila to hay.
jis simt hun rawaan main,woh manzil nayi nahin
lekin naya naya sa mera raasta to hay.
tootay huve qafas se kabhi ud nahi saka
sadiyon se roz par voh magar toltaa to hay.

i saw these couplets on the net,liked them so much
dont know the poet.

[usay apnay parday ki fiker thi wo jo mera waqif e haal tha,
wo jo uski subha e urooj thi,wohi mera waqt e zawal tha
,meri baat kese wo manta,mera dard kaisy wo janta,
wo to khud fana k safar pe tha,usay rokna bi mahaal tha,
kahan jaogay mujhy chor ker mein ye poch poch k thak gya,
wo jawab mujhko na de saka,wo to khud sarapa sawal tha,
wo mila jo sadyon k baad bi,meray lab pe koi gila na tha,
usay meri chup ne rula diya,jise guftagu pe kamal tha...! ]
